Join Danny O’Flaherty on this 12 day tour of Ireland ~ a journey that
will fill your senses and expand your imagination! On a Travel Celtic
tour you will explore many of the areas of Ireland where the Celtic
traditions are still alive. These places are reminiscent of ancient times
where you will find spirituality and heritage at every turn.
On this trip you will visit many of the cities, towns and villages that are
filled with the wonderful heritage that Ireland is made of. We will begin
our journey at the Dublin airport where we will meet our driver,
Michael Rooney and begin our journey towards Kilkenny, stopping to
visit Kildare, filled with the spirit and heritage of St. Bridget, one of the
Patron Saints of Ireland. We will spend two nights in Kilkenny, the
medieval capital of Ireland before moving on to Cork City filled with
great historical sites where we will spend the next three nights.
We will visit the beautiful seaside village of Kinsale which has retained
much of the flavor of its rich maritime history and has the reputation of
being the gourmet center of southwest Ireland. The Cobh Heritage
Center and the Michael Collins Experience will be two other highlights
of the trip before we travel on along the beautiful southern coastline of
Irleand on our way to three nights in Tralee.
While staying in Tralee, we will venture out to spend a day exploring
the heritage and beauty of the Dingle Peninsula. Then you will have a
free day in Killarney to explore the history and magnificent scenery of
the area. Our last three days will be spent in County Clare, exploring
the uniqueness of its countryside.

the story of famine and emigrations, kings and invaders, priests and
poets, encompassing the heritage which shaped Ireland into a place of
extraordinary culture and beauty.
